NRB Names FamilyLife Today® 2017 Program of the Year

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., March 2, 2017—Today, FamilyLife® will receive the 2017 National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Media Award for Radio Program of the Year for FamilyLife Today® at the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Orlando, Florida. This win makes FamilyLife Today a three-time NRB award winner with previous wins in 2003 and 1995.

“For 25 years, millions of families have welcomed FamilyLife Today into their homes,” said Dennis Rainey, FamilyLife president and CEO. “We are honored that NRB has recognized the difference the program makes in our listeners’ lives.”

Co-hosted by Rainey and Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Bob Lepine, FamilyLife Today can be heard on more than 1,200 radio stations in all 50 states, reaching an estimated audience of 1.6 million weekly listeners. The daily interview-style program addresses current, relevant issues facing American families, and delivers biblical and practical counsel.

In addition to FamilyLife Today, FamilyLife provides resources offering biblical help for marriages and families. Events include Weekend to Remember® marriage getaways, which are being held in over 90 hotels and resorts this year.

NRB’s Radio Program of the Year is presented to a program that impacts the listener by being compelling, relevant, informative and entertaining, while demonstrating an authentic Christian faith. The award honors a program that has made a difference for Christ, whether it is in a small community or across the nation.
