Pediatricians Dr. Den Trumbull and Dr. Michelle Cretella give parents sound advice for settling down little ones at bedtime. They also talk about the effects of screen time on children, and together they give moms and dads some sound advice for preparing their sons and daughters for adolescence.

Den Trumbull
Den Trumbull is board certified in pediatrics and former president of the American College of Pediatricians. Dr. Trumbull was born and raised in Panama City, Florida.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Florida and then attended the University of Miami School of Medicine for his medical degree.
After serving in the U. S. Air Force as a pediatrician for four years, Dr. Trumbull joined Drs. Glover and Morrison in private practice in Montgomery, AL in 1988. He and his wife, Nancy, have five children: four daughters and a son.
Dr. Trumbull has a special interest in behavioral pediatrics and has written and spoken nationally on the topic of parenting. He is a founding member of the American College of Pediatricians and currently serves as President.

Michelle Cretella
Dr. Michelle A. Cretella, MD, FCP is the President of the American College of Pediatricians. She is a board certified general pediatrician with a special interest in adolescent mental and sexual health.
She graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1994; completed her internship and residency in general Pediatrics with honors at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in 1997, and completed a College Health Fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Center in 1999. She has served on the Board of the American College of Pediatricians since 2005, and on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Therapeutic Choice (formerly NARTH) since 2010.
Dr. Cretella practiced general pediatrics for 15 years in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Her fulltime position as President of the American College of Pediatricians began in April of 2015.
Dr. Cretella has been an active prolife advocate for over twenty years, and she has been published in several lay publications. Avocations include personal training, youth ministry and serving as a certified abstinence educator for her local Catholic school. She lives in Rhode Island with her husband of twenty years and their four children: Christopher, John, Michael and Marianna.
