Tim and Cynthia Phillips

Tim and Cynthia Phillips have been married 13 years and reside in the Highlands Ranch area south of Denver, Colorado. Their blended family consists of two of Tim’s children from a previous marriage, a daughter age 32 (who is married) and son 37. Cynthia did not have any children of her own. They also have two absolutely precious and adorable grandchildren, a boy age 4 and a girl 10 months, who bring pure joy to the family.

Tim works full time as an architectural facility engineering designer for a large, global engineering services firm and Cynthia works as a Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Consultant for various B2B tech companies.

After attending a Smart Stepfamilies class at their church over 10 years ago they recognized a great need for support, encouragement, empathy, community and education for blended families. They have facilitated the Smart Stepfamily curriculum, along with other FamilyLife Blended materials, in classes at various churches over the years. Seeing a further need following their classes they began hosting a bi-weekly group in their home for blended couples from across the south metro Denver area.

They love hiking, kayaking, bicycling, living in Colorado, all Colorado professional sports, time with friends & family, and riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle. The verse that governs and emanates from their home is Joshua 24:15 – As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
