Steve and Holly Crain

Steve and Holly Crain began their relationship 25 years ago when their lives crossed paths serving single adults at their church. After several years of serving together, they fell in love and married. Both had assumed they would progress forward into the married young adult ministry; however, they quickly realized that would not be the case. Both Steve and Holly didn’t want to give up the ministry they had grown to love, and much to their surprise, their minster didn’t want them to leave either. As a result, they found themselves in the midst of single adult ministry and began to regularly serve and minister to those closest to their hearts; the single adults, single parents and blended family couples.

Steve is a 1982 graduate of Houston Baptist University from where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Christianity and Psychology. In 1986, he received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and later received his license by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Holly spent the first part of her career in the oil and gas industry and the first 10 years of their marriage as a stay-at-home mom. For the past 10 years she has been the Single Parent Family Ministry leader at Houston’s First Baptist. Steve and Holly have been married for 21 years and have four children: Emily and her husband Daniel, Evan, Mary Claire and Steven.
