Jessica Patterson

Jessica Patterson is a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Life Counseling Center in Round Rock, TX. With 10 years of experience in private practice, she specializes with marriage and blended families. She has been a guest speaker at Stepmoms Alive! and The Smart Stepmom retreat. She holds two Masters Degrees in Christian Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. She is a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, and is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.

Jessica grew up moving around East Texas and lived in Tulsa for 8 years while in college and graduate school. She has played piano all her life and, having a love for both music and counseling, she even double majored in piano performance and psychology for her Bachelor of Arts degree. She moved to the Austin, TX area in 2012, and has been proud to call it her home.

Jessica has experienced a divorce and was a single mother to her daughter for 3 years. She remarried in March of 2018 to her husband, Jonathan, and also gained a precious stepdaughter. Their two little girls are now 5 and 6 years old, and they enjoy being stepsisters. Their happily blended family also recently added a new “ours” baby boy this January.
