Amy Lively

Amy Lively is a featured contributor with womensministry.net and founder of The Neighborhood Cafe. Amy had lived in her neighborhood for several years, yet most of the women who lived nearby were complete strangers. She didn't know their joys or pains, had no one to call to borrow a cup of sugar -- and had never told them about Jesus. To reach out to these women, Amy hosted an Open House then invited her neighbors to Bible study. Amy created The Neighborhood Café to encourage other women to open their homes for "Coffee, Conversation & Christ." She tells how she felt knocking on doors while her knees knocked and shares about the friendships that now line the streets of her neighborhood. Amy equips churches and women to minister right in their own backyards with tools, tips and resources they can adapt to their unique personality, passion and community.
