Bob: I saw that; yes.
Dennis: They were married the year I was born—1948. They were married for more than 60 years.
Bob: Anniversaries matter a lot. In fact, our goal, here at FamilyLife, is to help more couples have more anniversaries and to have better anniversaries every year; year in and year out. We want to provide you with the kind of practical biblical help and hope that you need so that your marriage and your family can be strong and can thrive. That’s what FamilyLife Today is all about—that’s our goal.

And we’re supported in that goal by those of you who make donations occasionally—for those of you who are Legacy Partners / regular supporters of this ministry. We’re grateful for your financial partnership with us.
If you’re able to help with a donation of any amount today, we would love to send you, as a thank-you gift, our 2017 FamilyLife calendar. It’s all about how we can be ambassadors for Christ. We’ve talked about that recently on FamilyLife Today.
I know you’re thinking: “It’s September!—2017 is still four months away!” Well, this calendar begins in October. So, when you get it, you can hang it up right away. Again, there’s a lot in here about how to live as an ambassador for Christ.
The calendar is our gift to you when you support FamilyLife Today with a donation, which you can do easily online at FamilyLifeToday.com. You can call 1-800-FL-TODAY to donate; or you can mail your donation to FamilyLife Today at PO Box 7111, Little Rock, AR; our zip code is 72223.

And with that, we hope you have a great weekend. I hope you can watch a little football over the weekend. And I hope you can worship with your family at your local church this weekend. On Monday, we’re going to talk about how you can change your marriage by changing how you think. Sheila Wray Gregoire’s going to be here, and we’ll talk about that. I hope you can tune in on Monday as well.
I want to thank our engineer today, Keith Lynch, along with our entire broadcast production team. On behalf of our host, Dennis Rainey, I'm Bob Lepine. We will see you back on Monday for another edition of FamilyLife Today.
FamilyLife Today is a production of FamilyLife of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Help for today. Hope for tomorrow.
We are so happy to provide these transcripts to you. However, there is a cost to produce them for our website. If you’ve benefited from the broadcast transcripts, would you consider donating today to help defray the costs?
