Bob:  Yes.  I think that a lot of women are going to appreciate about what you have done in your book, which is called He is Not a Mind Reader—is that it's very practical, very simple, easy to understand, quick to read.  It's just basic, practical wisdom for how to keep your relationship running smoothly.  This is kind of the day-to-day essentials to keep a relationship healthy, but we lose sight of them because we get busy with other things and the day gets away from us or we just get focused on other priorities.  This calls you back to those habits and patterns that need to be a part of your relationship.

We have got copies of Brenda’s book in our FamilyLife Today Resource Center.  It's called He is Not a Mind Reader.  There is a companion book for men called Put the Seat Down.  We have already looked at that this week.  Go online at FamilyLifeToday.com for more information about both of these books.  Again, the website isFamilyLifeToday.com; or call 1-800-358-6329; 1-800-“F” as in family, “L” as in life, and then the word TODAY.  When you get in touch with us, we will let you know how you can get these books sent to you.

Now, I need to talk for a just a minute to a big group of our regular listeners, those of you who have listened for a while but have never gotten in touch with us to make a donation to help support FamilyLife Today.  First of all, we just want you to know we are glad you listen.  We appreciate you tuning in, and we are not here to try to twist your arm; but we have been hoping that during the month of August, we might hear from 2,000 listeners who have never made a donation to FamilyLife Today—who would get in touch with us and say, “Okay, we are ready to help support the ministry.”

We are listener-supported.  We depend on folks like you to make donations so that we can continue on this station and on our network of stations all across the country. We are heard in more than 1,000 cities across the country.  So if there were just two people in each city who would call and say, “You know what ,we have been listening, but I have never made a donation,” then we get to that goal of 2,000 first-time donors to FamilyLife Today

Now, to encourage you to do that, we put together a CD series that features about half of the messages from our Weekend to Remember® marriage getaway.  Dennis and I spoke at one of these getaways not long ago.  We have had CDs made of the messages that we did on sexual intimacy, resolving conflict, improving communication in your marriage, the things that threaten oneness, understanding God’s plan for marriage.  Those are now on CD, and we would love to send you the CD series when you make a donation this month to help support FamilyLife Today

All you have to do is go online, make the donation, type the word “SAMPLER” in the key code box that you will find on the online donation form.  We will send out those CDs to you as our way of saying, “Thanks,” for your support of the ministry.

Again, if you are a first-time donor, we will add your name to that growing group of first-time donors as we work toward our goal of 2,000 first-time donors this month.  If you are able to make a donation of $100 or more, we would like to send you, now this is for first-time donors, we would like to send you a certificate to attend a Weekend to Remember marriage getaway so that you and your spouse can both attend.  You can pass it on to somebody else you know.

In order to qualify for that, you have to be a first-time donor and you have to give at least $100 to support the ministry of FamilyLife Today.  You can do that online at FamilyLifeToday.com.  Just type the word “HUNDRED” in the key code box if you want the certificate.  As long as you give $100 or more, we will send that out to you.  We just want you to know we appreciate you listening.

We appreciate all of you who help support the ministry.  We are especially excited to hear from those of you who have never donated before; but here, during the month of August, you are going to join the team.  We look forward to hearing from you at FamilyLifeToday.com or when you call 1-800-FLTODAY to make a donation.

And we hope you have a great weekend.  Hope you and your family are able to worship together this weekend.  We want to encourage you to be back with us on Monday.  Susan Hunt is going to be here, and we are going to talk about what moms can do to help train daughters to think biblically about what it means to be a woman.  So, if you have young girls, elementary-, or junior high-, or even high school-aged daughters, I hope you can tune in on Monday.

I want to thank our engineer today, Keith Lynch, and our entire broadcast production team.  On behalf of our host, Dennis Rainey, I am Bob Lepine.  We will see you back Monday for another edition of FamilyLife Today.

FamilyLife Today is a production of FamilyLife of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Help for today.  Hope for tomorrow.
