12 Things You Didn't Know About JesusAs believers, our eternal hope rests in Jesus Christ conquering the grave and rising from the dead. But is this a blind leap of faith, or is there compelling evidence proving that Christ’s resurrection is a historical reality?

Bob: Ultimately, it is the husband’s responsibility to be who God has called him to be; but the wife can either encourage that or she can discourage that.  I think these women, as they were listening, they could see how they have an assignment from God to be a helper in a way that does encourage their husbands to be all that God wants him to be.

I am looking forward—there are going to be two more of these True Woman Conferences coming up this fall—one in September in Indianapolis and one in October in Fort Worth.  There is a link on our website FamilyLifeToday.com that will take you to the True Woman website where you can get more information about how to get registered.

There is also a link on our website if you’d like to download a copy of the message that we are featuring this week.  You can go to FamilyLifeToday.com and download the mp3 file.  If you’d like to have us send you a copy of the CD we’ll send it out to you if you’ll help with a donation to support the ministry of FamilyLife Today this month.  We are listener supported and here as the summer is drawing to a close we’re having to look hard at whether we’re going to have to do some pruning as a ministry because of tight financial conditions.

So we are coming to our listeners and asking can you help us with a donation of any amount this month?  If you can we would love to send you a copy of the CD of this message that we’ve been featuring this week.  As you fill out the online donation form type in the word HUSBAND in the key code box and we’ll know to send you the CD.  Or call 1-800-FL-TODAY and make your donation over the phone and just mention that you’d like a copy of this CD.

If this is your first time to ever help support FamilyLife Today and you’ve never made a donation before?  Let me say thank you.  We’re hoping to hear from 2500 new supporters this month.  We’re hoping you’ll get in touch with us and I think on our website we are keeping track of that if you want to see how we are doing toward 2500 new listeners.

You can go to FamilyLifeToday.com for an update on that.  If you can help with a donation of $100 or more as a first time donor we’ll send you a certificate so that you and your spouse can attend one of our Weekend to Remember® marriage getaways.  We are going to be hosting these in about four dozen cities all across the country this fall and in another 50-60 locations in the spring.

We’ll send you a certificate that will cover the registration fee for you and your spouse for one of these upcoming conferences if you are a first time donor to FamilyLife Today and you can help with a $100 or more.  You can find out more online at FamilyLifeToday.com.  Or call 1-800-F as in “family” L as in “life” and then the word TODAY.  Let me say thanks in advance for your financial support.  We appreciate whatever you are able to do in support of this ministry.

We hope you can come back tomorrow when we are going to conclude the message this week, the message on what husbands wish their wives knew about men.  We’ll hear Part three tomorrow.

I want to thank our engineer today Keith Lynch and our entire broadcast production team on behalf of our host Dennis Rainey I’m Bob Lepine.  We will see you back next time for another edition of FamilyLife Today.

FamilyLife Today is a production of FamilyLife of Little Rock, Arkansas.
