This will be a special, intimate weekend with friends who are excited about family ministry. We invite you to step away together to enjoy world-class accommodations just a few blocks from the White House and the Museum of the Bible. Enjoy plenty of quality time with each other, while being inspired through the teaching of leading experts in the marriage and family arena.
You’ll be encouraged and energized about how your partnership with FamilyLife will ignite powerful changes for Christ by spreading God’s Word on marriage and changing lives around the world. Once you’ve considered how God is impacting lives through FamilyLife, you’ll be invited to play a critical part in making additional ministry happen.
A personal invitation from David Robbins
Refreshment
In the busyness of life, sometimes it’s not easy to focus on just the two of you. Step away from the day-to-day for an extended weekend. Relax together while taking in the rich history and legacy of our nation’s capital, along with spectacular sites and experiences—like rooftop dining overlooking the White House lawn, tickets to the Museum of the Bible, and historic monuments by night. A Christian Heritage Tour guide will share stories and insights into our nation’s history from a Christian perspective you might have never heard.
Connection
You’ll meet other like-minded couples who share your passion for godly marriages and families, building and deepening friendships as you connect and encourage one another.
Encouragement
You’ll hear incredible teaching, as well as inspiring messages from our gifted speakers and staff—leading experts in the marriage and family arena.
“If God answered all of your prayers last year, did you advance God’s Kingdom or yours?”
“When our memories become greater than our dreams, we have become a monument instead of a movement.”
“When we hide our brokenness, we limit our opportunities for ministry. By His stripes we are healed. By our stripes we point people to the healer.”
“If dependence upon God is our goal, then weakness is an asset.”
Take advantage of this weekend to really get to know FamilyLife President David Robbins and his wife, Meg, as well as FamilyLife Today® hosts, Dave and Ann Wilson. Hear them share their hearts and vision for FamilyLife and talk with them and other FamilyLife leaders on a personal level.
